Approach:
Initial applications of AI-based approaches show promising possibilities for detecting topographical defects such as dents, bumps, scratches or spots despite the protective foil.

This development is being continued and tested as part of a pilot project.
Challenge:
Optimized analysis tools for process optimization by combining Q-Brain® classification and Q-Live® statistics enable clearer conclusions to be drawn about relevant causes of defects
Approach:
Thanks to a downstream AI-based evaluation of inspection results in Q-Live® , defects are meaningfully assigned to appropriate groups with industry-standard designations.
Existing systems can be retrofitted with this solution.
